Da Nang Airport Fast Track

Skip the line for foreign passports: a staff member with a name sign takes you to a separate immigration lane, whether you are landing or flying home.

Da Nang airport fast track is an escort through passport control on international flights. It is sold by private companies rather than the airport, for example on Klook.

You pay to skip the general line. That matters most when several flights land at once and long queues build up at passport control. The visa is still your own job, and bags come off the belt at the usual pace.

Arrival route, step by step

How Da Nang airport fast track works on arrival, from the booking to the ground-floor arrivals hall of Terminal 2.

  1. 1

    Reserve for your landing date

Pick the date your flight lands. Expect a request for your flight and passport numbers, and usually a WhatsApp message from the operator before you travel.

  2. 2

    Look for your greeter

The greeter holds a sign, for example at the foot of the escalator that leads down to immigration. On Standard you may be met right at the aircraft door or the bridge.

  3. 3

    Separate lane

Hand over your voucher and passport and follow the greeter to the separate lane. Any visa stamp fee goes to the immigration officers, not the operator.

  4. 4

    Belts 1–4

Luggage arrives for everyone at once on belts 1–4. Premium and VIP greeters help you spot your suitcases and get them off the belt.

  5. 5

    Taxis

Customs, then the exit, with taxis outside day and night. Da Nang's centre is about 3 km away; Hoi An, about 30 km.

When Da Nang airport fast track pays off

01

Late-evening arrivals

Many international flights land between 23:00 and midnight, and the line for foreign passports can take over an hour.

02

Flights landing together

Each international flight adds roughly 20 minutes to the line. Arrivals around 08:00 and 17:00 are among the busiest.

03

Holidays and peak season

Lunar New Year, the year-end and the summer holidays. In February 2026 the airport planned around 140 international flights a day.

04

Travelling with toddlers or grandparents

A long stand in line is hard on them. Under-4s travel free on Standard.

05

The trip back

International check-in at T2 shuts 50–60 minutes before take-off, so a slow exit control leaves little slack.

Meeting points in Terminal 2 at DAD

International flights use Terminal 2, linked to the domestic Terminal 1 by a covered walkway. Passport control and baggage claim are on the ground floor; check-in and exit passport control are on Level 2.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book Da Nang airport fast track?
Book online with your flight number and landing date; for a landing after midnight, that is the day after departure. Standard and Premium close the day before, while Last Minute and VIP stay open on the day itself.
How much does Da Nang airport fast track cost?
Standard costs 324,000 VND per traveller on arrival and 328,000 VND on departure. Premium is 675,000 VND in and 690,000 VND out, VIP 900,000 VND on arrival only. Same-day booking costs more.
Is fast track worth it at Da Nang airport?
It pays off mostly for late-evening landings, peak season and overlaps of several flights. If yours is the only international flight in the afternoon or early morning, the regular line often takes just 15–20 minutes.
How long is the immigration queue at DAD?
Around 15–30 minutes on a normal day. When several international flights touch down together, as is common late in the evening, plan on an hour or longer.
Does fast track replace a visa?
No: the service gets you through the queue faster, but entry rules are the same for everyone. Vietnam's e-visa, open to all nationalities for stays of up to 90 days, is issued on the official e-visa portal, which also lists who may enter without one. A visa on arrival needs an approval letter arranged in advance.
Can the operator get my visa too?
Yes, as an add-on to Standard: a single-entry visa processed in about 2 hours costs 4,805,000 VND per person, on weekday dates only. Applying for the e-visa yourself is much cheaper, but here the operator fills in and submits the application: you only provide the documents.
Can I add a transfer or a SIM card?
Both are sold as add-ons on arrival: a private car for up to three people, 190,000 VND to a Da Nang hotel or 300,000 VND to Hoi An, and a 15-day Mobifone eSIM for 300,000 VND. For departure, a hotel pick-up can be added.
Can I cancel or change the date?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the service date for a full refund; later cancellations are not refunded. Each voucher covers one date only, so moving your trip means booking again.
Can foreigners use the e-gates?
No, only residents. The e-gates at DAD serve Vietnamese citizens and foreigners with a Vietnamese residence card; visitors queue for an officer.
Does it work for domestic flights?
No, the service is sold only for international flights at Terminal 2; domestic flights use Terminal 1 and are not covered.
